Ismael (Mecca Canine) started working with Ace (my 18 month old Golden Retriever) and I about three weeks ago. Thanks to Ismael’s training (of both of us - lol), I can walk Ace easily and happily now. Ace is 82 pounds and a high energy dog. Ace used to get so excited on walks he would practically pull me around- it was no fun and hard on my back! Now, Ace stays by my side and is fun to go out with. Even more, Ismael taught us how to do “place” and Ace lays down on his raised “place” bed until the “break” command. I work with Ace daily as Ismael instructed, but it isn’t for long - usually 10 minutes at a time. It is easy to do the daily work because I am seeing the results. If you’re looking for the best results in dog training then I highly recommend Mecca Canine. Ismael‘s work ethic is amazing. You may think he can’t handle your dog, he can! He helped my 1 year old chocolate Labrador who didn’t have any structure and within weeks YES weeks i had a more obedient dog. Ismael helped me with leash pulling, recall and off leash walks. His goal is for you and your dog to build a bond like no other, where you can trust your dog and your dog can trust you. Ish is a fantastic trainer. We worked with him when our Buddy was a high energy pup at 5 months old. He taught the importance of structure to us as owners and how beneficial it is to our pup. Ish gave us the tools and knowledge to needed to help our pup be the best version of himself. We did basic obedience with Ish. Buddy learned several commands and also is great at loose leash walking/heeling which makes walks much more enjoyable for everybody. Ish is also flexible with his scheduling to cater to his clients needs and does frequent check ins after sessions to ensure everything is going well. Thanks to Ish, we have a well behaved dog and we are better owners. We would 100% recommend Ish!

What can I say, 1st time ever using an obedience trainer. January 8th 2022 Samson was born a beautiful Blu Cane Corso. I did my research and knew that when he got bigger that the need to have him trained, and socialized was a must. We found Ishmael (Mecca Canine) shortly after bringing him home. It was by far my best investment. Samson is now 1 year & 9 months and weighs 130lbs. Everyone he comes in contact with, from kids to the groomers always complement me on his behavior. Coupled with the daily attention, socialization, and continued training we learned from Mecca Canine, I know Samson will continue to thrive and be the best and well behaved Cane Corso he can be.

Ish has transformed my relationship with my dog these past few weeks. I was contemplating rehoming my pup but I called Mecca Canine and the fun began. Ish trained my dog Dallas when she was a puppy and then we put her through a 6 week board and train program. Shes a super high drive, working line german shepherd and she started displaying leash reactivity and other behavior issues very early on which is normal for her lines. The training ish offered was exactly what our dog needed after being let down by two purely positive trainers. She’s now off leash trained and the best family dog we could’ve have asked for. Big shout out to ish and his family for the work they put into our dog.

I adopted a female German Shepherd who was an adult street stray. Bennie was fear aggressive and came with a lot of trust issues. I met Ismael and he began working with her as a board and train. In 4 weeks I saw her transformed into a calmer, sweet girl who learned to listen and develop confidence in her surroundings. Ismael worked with me to show me how to garner a positive relationship with her and to communicate clearly with her. If I had trouble with an issue, he was quick to ask me to demonstrate the issue and then show me how the correct reinforcement . He is clear in his communications both with the dog and with the handler. After the board and train he was very consistent to check in, continue fine tuning and answer any questions or concerns I had. Working with Ish and his family helped take one pup off the street to successfully find her forever home. I’m very grateful for his help and support in making her a good family member.

We started working with Mecca when my Belgian Malinois x GSD was just a puppy. But a huge puppy! We needed help putting obedience on him because he was a puppy being trained to be a service dog. Ishmael knew EXACTLY what to do!! Almost immediately it went from being drug down the sidewalk by my huge puppy to having a pup that minded and I could work together with. Hunter is still a big ol’ puppy - but he is a joy to walk and be around. Ismael is the best puppy, and big puppy, trainer there is!!! I would recommend him again and again, if it’s a dog, he can train it!!

We did a 6 week board and train with Mecca for our Aussie puppy and it was the best thing we did for her and our family. Our puppy was fearful and scared of new people coming into our home and strangers during walks. She would shake and hide behind us as a little puppy and the fear only became worse the older she got.The combination of obedience training, confidence building sessions around his dogs and in public really turned our girl around. She warms up to people faster, doesn’t bark uncontrollably at strangers and walking her is the just the best now.This was an amazing experience and I’m so grateful we found Mecca and decided to commit to training.
